This wouldn't be my normal genre of book but as i watched Les Miserables for the millionth time last night it kind of fits in as the same era.
Fascinating to read that the person sent to rescue Fleur was a woman, you automatically presume it would be a man.
I would be interested to read more and see if they do manage to get away and get her back to her husband.
