Super book, finished it in one sitting and now want to go back to read it again. The small details really brought the book to life for me. On top of a really interesting story I found it fascinating reading about how different dress and customs were used. It was one of the few books I've read recently where a character didn't annoy me. I enjoyed the mix of comic relief and tense action, it kept me interested and allowed me to finish the book in one sitting. Definitely a book I will be recommending to friends. I did find that in places it dragged on a bit however it didn't put me off continuing through. Nice and easy to read with a well thought out plot. Perfect to get lost in and travel back through time.
