Well this isn’t a book I would usually pick up but after reading the first few chapters I am gripped! Set in times gone by with pirates, ladies and spy’s there’s something for everyone! Tension builds in a will they won’t why get caught and will they rescue the ward.
It kept me on my toes and the style of writing was easy to follow with good descriptions to set the scene and allow me to escape into the book imagining it all from the smells in the air to the views I would have. Always allowing me to submerge myself in the book.
A first for me by this author but defiantly not a last I look forward to reading more and enjoying the escapism provided by this book and future ones I chose to read
