At first I wasn't too interested in this book to be honest, Once I gave the blurb a chance I found that it actually seemed quite interesting. Whilst reading the excerpt I came to find it wasn't going to be a simple and cheesy contemporary novel but also had the sense that there would be a lot of emotions spread throughout the book and that makes me want to read more to find out how the family get through the struggles they are going to be facing.
