For Readers Who Enjoy Novels by Jodi Picoult
The Second Child was a fast paced read, multiple POVs in each chapter, going back and forth between Phil and Sarah, a married couple who discover that their daughter Lauren isn't actually their biological daughter. Lauren is disabled and doesn't share the same blood type as Phil and Sarah which is called into question in this extract from the novel. Anyone who reads and enjoys novels by Jodi Picoult will enjoy this one!
I feel that the cover is not too bad but since it is about two children, I felt that an image of a family or something to do with children would be a better fit because of the storyline.
I would like to read on further however, I'm not sure if the storyline would fully capture my interest later in the book.
