A story of hope and loss. This story is a heartrenching story. This is a debut novel from author Caroline Bond. I read this book in one sitting. This book has a careful and thoughtful plotline. There is an underpinning theme of loss and hope. You learn about a family of characters in detail, what they have to deal with and the choices they make.
The writing style was poignant and easy to read.
There are various different themes running through the book - which made for an interesting read. One of which was infidelity, alongside loss, trauma and hope. This is not a story that I would normally read, but I would recommend this book to anyone who does not normally read a lot of contemporary adult fiction.
