This book is incredibly powerful, it raises awareness of RTS and approaches the delicate subject of babies being switched at birth! As a parent this was a huge fear of mine, I never let the babies put my sight!
This book follows the story of Sarah and Phil and their children Lauren and James. Lauren was diagnosed with RTS at a young age but it wasn’t until Phil went to a routine health check when Lauren was 14 and noticed her blood type and that there was no chance that Sarah and he could possibly produce a child of said blood type! He became insecure and they had a paternity test. The results show that in fact neither Sarah or Phil were Hannah’s parents and an investigation then toke place!
Rosie was found to be the Sarah and phils birth daughter. Throughout the story you are made to feel sorry for Rosie’s mum Anne, a single parent who’s ex husband seems very controlling and seems to want to forget she even exsists. UNTIL Anne admits her wrong doing which makes you co pletely change your view in her!

Over all I really enjoyed the story I just wish the ending gave a bit more insite to what the family’s had decided/agreed upon for Rosie in the future! Would they share parental rights?
