Not really for me
This was well written and an interesting storyline, but it just wasn't for me. I think I was expecting more drama.
The story is written from various perspectives, which allows a more detailed and rounded view of the situation, but for me, this meant I didn't really 'pick a side'. I can't recall any character really standing out to me or making me what to be their friend, something I always really like in a story. There are a couple of interesting twists in the story to keep you wondering, but the ending was quite weak and there is a thread holding it together which is actually pretty far-fetched.
This type of novel is different to my usual type and I wanted to read for a change, whilst it hasn't persuaded me to change genres, it may be a perfect read for someone who already enjoys family dramas.
