I won this book in the readers first competition it isn’t the usual genre I go for but by golly I am glad I did. The book revolves round the six main characters. Phil his wife their two children and Anne and her daughter.
Basically without spoiling the plot too much there has been a mix up at the hospital and two babies have gone to the wrong parents 14 years later the families of the mixed up children find out.
this book pulls no punches. It’s not just a mix up of babies. That would of been I think not as good.It’s how the lives of all of the characters would of been different as one of the girls has a rare condition and thus has severe disabilities.
I really liked the characters in the book they were well written and interesting. The author writes emotional dialogue really well. I would highly recommend a read.
Oh and don’t forget the twist at the end fantastic!!
