After reading One split second by this author I sourced out more of her books and this one is the second one of hers I have now read. It was a heart wrenching read about a very sensitive topic about coming to terms with how one family can be turned upside down with the discovery that the child they had brought home from hospital wasn't actually the one they had given birth too and was written in a very real and sensitive way and carolines writing style brought the characters to life so that you could get inside of them and feel what they were feeling. The second child would make a good televised drama. The story enfolded with lots of twists and turns and emotions along the way and kept the reader guessing about the events that had happened as to why the child wasn't the one they had given birth to and how things unfolded along the way.
