The three characters are already well fleshed out and incredibly well written. I like how it throws us into the action almost immediately once they've been established.
I already want to know more about Neil and his situation, how he ended up on the street. I have a feeling he's going to be my favourite.
I'm intrigued as to who the angry man is, who left and returned as the villain and why everything is happening, who exactly is the 'man on the brink'. Charity Norman already has me hooked from the first three chapters so I can tell this is going to be an edge-of-your-seat gripping read.
