First of all, I like short chapters. The first impression fits the bill. Secondly: I like 'convincing' characters. This has already seems to be the case here. Last but not least, the first impression was alresdy quite engaging. The storyline, for those who remember, brings to mind and old (but good!) film called the Negotiator. If you haven't heard of it, definitely worth checking out, just like this book!
