In London, cafes are everywhere. In the normal existence we live in we used to seeing them crowded, buzzing with people, excited talk and the sound of crockery clattering. We are also used to seeing people sitting alone in these cafes, working, looking at their phones or staring into space. Cafes are often a haven for a momentary release from the hectic world outside. Therefore, this story of five strangers in a normal, everyday situation being drawn together as hostages in a cafe, which is meant to feel like a safe place, is both terrifying and exciting as it could happen to anyone in any cafe at any time. This sounds like a tense thriller with many twists and I'd love to be able to read it and find out what the outcome is.
