I really enjoyed this first impression, it sets up all the characters nicely so as you know a little about the story, just enough to intrigue you so as you want to know about them, about their past, how they ended up in their current situation, i assume that the situation thy are now about to enter will help each of them deal with something monumental that is going on in their lives and i look forward to reading how the author conveys this. they are very different characters but all written in such detail that really you can envisage how they may look and act if they walked into your own regular cafe.
