I initially totally judged this book by it's cover! When I got my readers first email I saw the photo and thought that looks like my sort of book. I read the blurb and decided that I'd definitely check out the sneak peek.
I've just finished the sneak peek - first three chapters and I'm hooked. Already I want to know all about the characters we've met so far, why is Neil homeless? Is the clinic going to give Abi good news? What has Mutesi had to go through to get where she is? And who was that boy yelling at Robert the cafe owner and why has he returned with a gun? I need to know what's happening, I already feel invested in these characters!
