I have read a fair few books this year but this one completely blew me away and has been my favourite so far.
I didn't manage to get a copy through ReadersFirst but got an ARC elsewhere. After reading the first look I absolutely had to read it.
A story of tragedy, murder and personal battles and demons. It took me through every emotion. I felt hope and joy, sorrow and sadness and everything else in between. I was left wanting to know more about what happened after to the various characters in the book.
I'm not normally a fan of books set in one place as a general focus but as this one delves deeper into the lives of everyone in the story it didn't feel as though we were just stuck in one place.
Beautifully written, tear inducing and devastating. An amazing must read for 2020. Well done Charity Norman for such a great book
