I have not read any of the author's other books but if they're as good as this one, I will be looking them out. "The Secret of Strangers", an attractive cover and a very easy book for me to pick up and not want to put down. Page turning till the end and I would definitely recommend as an ideal holiday read.
A modern book with thought provoking storyline. Set in a situation that is easily identifiable with and spanning a day. Each of the characters, all with their own personal set of issues, are believable and draw you in to their own dilemmas. The setting, although the majority takes place in the same cafe, did not make the story dull and only served to heighten the tension of the situation.
