I really enjoyed this book, it draws you in very quickly and then you just have to keep going!
Although the premise of an ill fated gathering of strangers in a cafe is not a new one, this book has so much more to offer then it's basic plot.
A complex set of characters each with their own back story to tell is also not a new concept, but it has been done incredibly well and reveals just enough about each person at just the right time, to keep the tension going.
You really would have to be made of stone not to be moved by the main character Sam's story and yes, you will be rooting for him by the end of the book.
This really is a book for the present moment in time too, a moving and uplifting story about human kindness is just what we all need right now and it deserves to sell well.
