I have to admit that historical fiction is not normally my genre of choice but I thought that this was the perfect opportunity to give this a go and I am pleased that I did. I found The Serpent's Mark to be very well written and intriguing. I did, however, struggle with the font that was used, so, I wouldn't be able to read for very long at a time.
