Not my usual go to read but as I won it I thought I should cast my doubts aside and try something different. This is a sequel but can be read as a stand alone. The cover is absolutely stunning and draws you to the book immediately. I really enjoyed the plot and also the era in which it was written.it is very interesting and the book is full of conspiracy and mystery that keeps you excited throughout your reading experience. I did enjoy the book and am considering getting the first one to see if it helps me understand the characters more although there was a good bit of back story which helps readers understand characters more. I would recommend this book to fans of conspiracy and mystery as it does tick all the boxes.
