The Serpents Mark by S.W.Perry is the second instalment in the series. I had not realised this until after starting the book, but soon came to realise it was not difficult to understand what had previously happened. I’m a fan of historical fiction and actually as a child had an interest in the Tudor period specifically. So this book was right up my street. It did not disappoint. S. W. Perry has a fantastic writing style, I found it very descriptive, which made me feel as though I was in the Elizabethan era along with the characters Nicholas and Bianca. The author had definitely done his research as I felt it was true to the Tudor times.
