I’m releasing this from my DNF shelf. Each January I go back to revisit some of them and pick up from where I left off. I never like to review books I didn’t finish.
I still feel pretty much the same though.
I hate this when this happens. I really wanted to love this book, I think its only the 2nd book this year that has a low rating from me, I don't like it, its not something I take pleasure in at all.
The story was fairly slow moving but I stuck through it, I read it until the end even though I had to read other books in between. Its taken me an entire month to get through.
The plot was a good plot, but it lost its directive in many places which frustrated the hell out of me and got me tearing my hair out to find some positives within this story.
I thank the publishers Bonnier Zaffre and the author who I will give another try in the future.
