I found this quite a hard book to read as a lot of the language I don’t know and had problems working out what it may mean.
This book focuses on the way Christians were treated in China in 1620’s and the execution of many in such horrific ways, could almost feel the fear that must have been going through them and the villagers that were executed for hiding them away and practising Christianity.
As a Christian myself it really made me think about how I would have reacted and could I have been as brave.
