I didn't think this would be my thing but i like to give different genres a chance however after having read the extract I know it's not for me. It is far too dark and grim and wouldn't hold my concentration at all, good descriptive writing style though and I think if you like this sort of thing then it would be worth a read. The cover is not appealing to me but matches the book style.
