Although in all honesty I could not make head nor tail of the synopsis I did try to read the FI to gain a flavour of the novel. Not ever having read fantasy novels it was well out of my comfort zone and it literally went in one ear and out the other. As I couldn’t even sustain interest to reach the end of the extract I am more than happy to pass on this one!
