‘The swords of silence’ is brilliant. I was gripped from the first page to the last. As soon as I read the first lines I knew that I was going to enjoy this book. The story captured me, and at the same time I learnt something about a time and place I previously had little knowledge about. The characters themselves felt real, and the reader can relate to them. The setting, the plot, everything about this book I enjoyed, no part of it felt forced, or for effect; for page after page I was captivated truly. This is a read that is going to stay with me for a long time, it might not be to everyone’s liking, but I would recommend they give it a try. I can’t wait for the sequel to ‘The swords of silence’
