I did enjoy Swords of Silence, but I did find it a little hard to get into at first.
I understand that it probably isn't a book that everyone will enjoy, but if you are looking for something a little different to add to your bookshelf, it is worth a try.
The scene setting is beautiful and there is plenty of action and intrigue to get your teeth into.
Father Martinez is a compelling protagonist, who is so easy to become empathetic with. He is committed to his beliefs and this strength makes really made me root for him throughout the book.
The only reason that Shaun Curry's novel doesn't get more stars is that I do feel there were so flow problems and it isn't usually a genre I would read. That being said I still will be likely to read the next in the series
