I’m sorry to say that I was really disappointed by this book; it was not one for me.
I had never heard of the author before and it was a type of book that I might ordinarily pick up from the local bookshop, so I had high hopes for reading this. However, I was disappointed.
The book felt slow and laboured to me and that it took a long while to actually get going. the idea behind the story was good., but it just lacked that punch that it needed to take it to the next level.
The characters in the book were ok but felt that they needed deeper back stories to make them stand out more.
I wouldn’t say that the front cover of the book would be one that would stand out to be in the local bookshop.
