I’ve been looking forward to this, the sequel to The Last Hours. It was a great change from Minette Walters usual physiological crime novels which explore the dark nature of the human mind. The previous book began the story of the English village at the time of the first Black Death invasion of the country in the 14th cent. It was also a revealing portrait of role of women in that period. It should be a great read for all those historical novel lovers who love a good story with their history.
