I have been looking forward to this book since I finished The Last Hours. I am relieved that the characters are as richly wrought in the early chapters as they were in the first book and that we have picked up exactly where we left off - little in the way of recapping as well (I don't think that this would spoil things for someone who hasn't read the first book).
Wonderful beginning and the First Impression leaves us at a tantalising spot.
My only niggle is with Readers First - we can only use points to purchase one book a week and I loved both of these first impressions and now have to try and decide which one to plump for and which one to purchase (haven't been lucky in a drawing for 7 months or so).
