I have just recently finished the first book in this series by Walters, The Last Hours and it was superb. I was delighted to see this was available as I can't wait to find out what happens next in Develish. The snippet that I read of this took me straight back into the era. Atmospheric description, beautiful poetic writing and a fascinating storyline grabbed my attention in the first and this sequel sucked me right in. I need more! And what a cover, may I add, compliments #1 perfectly.
