The term 'whistleblower' is the term used when a person passes on information concerning wrongdoing and instantly I recognised that this must have had so thing to do with the government. Gil is a very complex character and has very personal battles that they are going through and the way these sensitive topics were written was exceptional. I truly felt their pain and trauma as though it were my own. This story makes you question your whole life and see the world in a different light. However I must say, the cover was what drew me in the most it could be inferred that the orders to murder Clare had come from the very top which could be why they were stood under the Tower of London. I would love to read this book and indulge in this marvellous masterpiece that Robert Peston created.
