I'm on the fence with this one as I'm intrigued about the secrets and attempted murder but am wondering how much politics will be involved. If the story concentrates more on the lies and betrayal I think I will enjoy it.
Additionally I'm not sure how I will end up feeling about Gil, as so far, he doesn't seem a likeable person in the slightest. I was also surprised that the blurb gives away what happens to Claire.
