I never expected a book/story to grip me the way "The Whistle Blower" has.
As the synopsis described this as a political thriller I was not sure that this would be the book for me, boy was I wrong.
The characters and events are so real, and the story goes at at a good pace.

1997 has a desperate government clinging to power, and an aggressive opposition party that will do anything to win the next general election.
Journalist Gil Peck studies from the sidelines, he is respected journalist on the sport of power politics.
When Gil Pecks sister Clare dies in a hit and run, he begins to believe it was no accident. Clare knew some the most sensitive secrets in government and Gil believes one of these got her killed. Election day is coming and Gil follows things that lead him into the dark web of interests. The deeper he goes the more he realises how wrong he has been------
This book is a must to buy and read I would highly recommend it
