A good thriller that had me so engrossed I couldnt put it down. It was also very thought provoking and I wanted to be in the story too. A really good read with great characters and story. The main character really digs deep into a world of politics with dangerous results including losing his sister through a hit and run, which he suspects was not an accidrent. I had not read anything like this before, so I was surprised how much I enjoyed it, by the author Robert Peston.
I can recommend this coming from a person that isnt into politics or who knows much about politics. Set in the 1990s and you get to find out what goes on in the private members clubs within the political society. It had me gripped from the start and it has given me an insight into the world of politics and its shady business with lots of secrets. I would be interested to read more of Robert Pestons work.
