this book is ok, i think you need an interest in politics / journalism to truly enjoy it, i guess its exactly the kind of book you would expect from Robert peston (which is not a bad thing but this wasnt really the book for me) when i read the first chapter i expected it to be a book a journalist struggling with ocd, and while that is a small part of the book it was not really the main character personality trait, the idea for the plot was good i just didnt feel it had enough action and a bit too much complicated political / journalism chapters that added little to the plot, i think if you work or are interested in 1990's politics / media you will really enjoy this book, i personally would of liked to of got to know more about the character of Claire i struggled to figure out the kind of person she actually was in the end, i found it hard to trust any of the characters but i guess that's politics for you
