Even though I'm not really into politics I thought that this book sounded like it had a really good storyline and couldn't wait to read it, and made a start on it the evening it arrived.
Unfortunately I just cannot get into this book at all, you know with some books you take a real liking to the main character? Well, for me there was something Gil the main character in this book that I just didn't take to at all and I'm also not overly keen on the authors style of writing, it just hasn't been one of those books which I couldn't wait to get back to see what was going to happen next.
I've persevered with it for a week now in the hope that maybe I start enjoying it, and have now decided to give up on this one.
I'm sure lots of people will really enjoy this book, but sadly for me it will probably be one that will be put to one side and eventually end up in the charity shop.
