It was a slow start, I think I struggled mostly with the political terms and I feel there was too much of it, so if it isn't your thing you might struggle. The story line was good and gripping. Gil Peck is the political editor for a National newspaper has major flaws and isnt perfect tries to investigate and get down the the reason as to why his sister died suddenly and was it a murder. People didn't believe but he was determined to get answers.
Election Day is around the corner and Gil sets out to see if he is right in his suspicions as to the truth of Clare's death and was she murdered considering what she has found out regarding pension fund
There was major conspiracy through the book and I also enjoyed the twist at the end, had a lot of twist and turns in the book.
I feel it was realistic and I also enjoyed the way buildings and locations in the capital city was mentioned
