This novel is well balanced and cleverly constructed to appeal to those who enjoy a political, espionage storyline and then there is the underlying relationships aspect of siblings and mental health problems that make this novel very diverse. It is well written and balanced just right in its academic context and if the political situation becomes a little overwhelming or confusing, you get the opportunity to catch your breath by then being immersed in the mystery of gils sisters death and the consequences that ensue. It is startling to realise that the corruption and crime that runs through the government exists and is most likely impossible to eliminate. It is an inspiring read and the factual information that transpired through does make you realise how brutal politics and the media are. This is a worthy read and an eye opener
