This novel is about a Word who doesn't wish to be spoken by a human. It starts off introducing a strange world where words live. Word goes to meet his friend Deaf when vocal chords arrive and sick away words. Word is sucked away but then he is found. A very strange book with a good premis but unfortunately I found the first few chapters hard to follow.
