This extract is unique as I've never read anything like this before. It's beautifully written however it took me a while to understand what I was reading. I liked the Authors idea for this book, however I can envisage this being a difficult to follow story. Furthermore, I did not find the books cover appealing and would not pick this book up off the shelf. I did find once you understood the concept of the book it becomes easier to follow, but I would have a hard time persevering through a whole book. When I read this extract, I felt like I was constantly trying to figure out what was going on as opposed to understanding a story with ease. Lastly, from the extract that I have read I do not find myself wanting to find out what happens in this story. Nevertheless the Author has clearly written a clever book and the target audience is likely to enjoy it.
