I don't think I've ever read anything quite like this before!
The characters in this book are all words and don't like humans.
The character 'deaf' was quite poignant as others didn't want to communicate with him as he communicated differently and sadly this happens in real life too.
I found it was a strange book and very different to the usual set up of a story.
It's very poetically written and I think if I got into it I might quite like it.
