A clever and witty read all about the power and magic of words

The Word Trove is about appreciating and loving words and there uses. The book makes them magical. There is alot of twisting and playing with words and the book makes you think about words in a different way. It makes you think about words that normally come as pairs eg safe and sound. The book also covers re arranging words and word meanings,riddles and bracketed words like (betimes.) The words tell there own story and there are references to Alice in Wonderland and Hares in the book. I thought that the illustrations were good and that it was a clever and witty read. It has definitely enriched me and made me appreciate words and the power of them even more. I would recommend this book especially to those that love language and literature. It is also quite a unique niche book and there should be more books like this. I do hope this author writes more books like this.
