There were some parts of this book that I really enjoyed but overall, unfortunately, it wasn't a book for me. I found myself losing interest quite early on and it wasn't keeping me as gripped and hooked into the story as I thought it might. I was disappointed that I felt like this and thought maybe it was just not the right time to read a book like this and decided to take a break from it and come back to it when I felt like it might be a better time. Still, it wasn't for me. I didn't have that connection that I often feel with books, storylines and characters. I liked the style of writing and think the author is a talented writer, I just don't think I was part of the right audience for this one. I have since passed it on to a friend who liked the sound of it, so hopefully it'll be loved by someone else instead. Thank you so much for the opportunity to review it.
