This was a fantastic read. The plot is centered on a word whom cannot remember/find its meaning/name. It wanders around a fantasy word realm which has tinges of both Alice in Wonderland and also The Never ending story. It is all a big crescendo and has a great climatic ending.

The story is relatively easy reading but due to the philosophical nature of it also has many levels of which your own imagination can choose to delve. So whilst the plot and certain chapters may remind readers of the aforementioned books, the overall book for me is far more reminiscent of the writings of Jostein Gaarder of Sophie's World fame. It has a natural flow to it in more ways than one and is the sort of book that you could probably study/read a large number of times and discover new ideas and ways of looking at it each time.

A special note must be made for the translator (and indeed rightly so is in the back of the book). Whilst I love reading books and studied them, my English language was always shocking and to have translated such a book as this (despite its short size) is an incredible feat, bravo indeed!

Oh, and I should also mention the book itself is a thing of beauty, again really well thought out.
