From the blurb this sounded so good, really magical and mysterious as the blurb was quite sparse and gave little away as to the actual plot so it intrigued me.
But for me it just didn't live up to the premise of the write up.
To sum it up the story is all about a word that doesn't understand its meaning and significance so goes on an epic journey to find its root source and where he belongs.
Along the way he meets lots of wacky and weird characters, sort of like a verbal "Alice in wonderland" vibe.
I don't know why I didn't get on with this but I think it was just a little disjointed at times went off plot a shade.
It's really hard to describe this adequately as it relies a lot on puns, word games and devices, poetry, word meanings and history.
For a wordsmith or someone into the roots and history of words I guess this would be a delight but it just wasn't my cup of tea although I could appreciate the skill of the wordplay.
