First of all I would like to say a big thank you to Readers First for my free copy of this book. I would also like to thank the author, Elias Vorpahl, for writing such a quirky and enchanting story. Thank you also to the translator who made it possible to read in English, although I'm now intrigued to try the original German version.

This book has been one of the hardest to review as it is just so different to anything I have read before. It is an absorbing story and one that needs to be read and reflected upon personally.

The book has a rather unique concept of a Word that has lots its meaning and follows the Word's journey across the world of language. The plot is very cleverly put together and has now made me more aware of the use of language and the meaning of words. It is an amazing book for anyone interested in words and language.

On a personal note the book took me on a journey back to childhood with a reminiscence of fables and stories told by the Brothers Grimm. It also has a little bit of an Alice and Wonderland feel and reminded me of the Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

Additionally, the book is beautifully illustrated throughout, bringing the story to life and adding to the enchantment of the book. The book itself is one of the loveliest hardback on my shelf. It was a real surprise and a joy to receive.

On a final note, this book and the story contained within its pages will stay with me for a very long time and one that I will return to on many occasions to come.
