Wow, what an intriguing idea, a little word argues with its parents and then goes through a truly traumatic experience that results in the word forgetting it's name and meaning. The word then embarks on a search to, in effect, find itself.
An original idea with lots of imagination. At first you wonder where this book is leading you and you need to just go with the flow as the story is so unlike anything you have read before but when you can get your head round the fact that each word is an entity in itself it unfolds into a charming story.
It is a well paced tale that jogs along quite nicely, the writing is clever and considered and it has an attractive front cover that screams to be picked up. It is hard to come up with something truly original but this is a wonder. I am intrigued to see how this tale ends, you feel quite protective of the little word and wonder where it's journey will take it.
