You obviously pick up a book expecting to like it from the synopsis but I enjoyed this one even more than I thought I would. It is really beautifully written and has word perfect prose. It is a really unique and imaginative story not quite like anything I have read before. It has a really simple premise on the face of it but it carry’s quite a big meaning. It really makes you think about the use of words and their meaning, but it is also about the story and about everyone having their own story and meaning but it is also so much more than that. In fact it’s quite hard to explain in words!
The book itself is also very special, and is definitely one to have and hold in your hands rather than read electronically as it has a really charming cover and lots of charming illustrations throughout to accompany the text and really bring this beautiful story to life. This is a book that needs a space on a bookshelf.
