This book was an absolute pleasure to read and ticked all the boxes for me.

Caroline Bond writes so well, she is in tune with so many issues for modern day women and families and uses her characters Thea and Denise to maximum effect.
The story builds the relationship of two women who have a chance meeting but then find that, although they have very different personalities, they have more in common than they realise.
The descriptions of the parental relationships resonated with me and I'm sure will with many other readers who have experience of caring for or dealing with elderly parents or have been a parent themselves.
I read this book in two days and although there is a nod to Thelma and Louise (a favourite film of the author) it is a very British take on it.
I predict that this will be a book club favourite, prompting many laughs and discussions and will fly off the shelves this summer.
